Interface Repository
--------------------

Universe requires a running Interface Repository Daemon which is case 
insensitive.

The socket address for ird should be configured in php.ini. The default 
address is port 2222 on localhost.

To use interfaces located in /var/idl/interfaces.idl, start ird like this:

$ ird -ORBIIOPAddr inet:localhost:2222 --db /var/idl/interfaces

You may add interfaces to the interface repository at run-time like this:

$ idl -ORBIfaceRepoAddr inet:localhost:2222 --feed-ir more.idl
